These terms and conditions apply to the Connect Overseas Pro service. Our agreement is with our users/introducers and not their client(s), it is therefore the user’s responsibility to ensure that the following information is understood, agreed to by their client(s).
2. Data Protection
We will store and use any personal information about you and your client to comply in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 ("the Act").
3. Collection and Use
In order to provide our service we need to collect personal information about your client by way of our fact finding questionnaire. We then process this information and disclose it to third party mortgage advisers with whom we have a contract. By completing the questionnaire your client is consenting for a Third Party Mortgage Adviser to contact you or your client so to progress the request for further mortgage information. Thereafter we will retain yours and your client’ information only for so long as necessary in light of our rights and obligations under our contract with the relevant Third Party Mortgage Adviser. By using this web site you are giving us permission to use and retain yours and your client’s personal data in this way. We will not pass your personal information to any third party other than a Third Party Mortgage Adviser, without yours or your client’s consent. As part of our proposition we may need to use “cookies” to store and track information about your use of Connect Overseas Pro.
4. Access to personal data
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 we are entitled to charge an administration fee of £10 for allowing you or your client access to your own personal data. All requests for copies of personal information should be made in writing accompanied by the administration charge to Connect Finance Group Ltd, Office One, Ripon House, 35 Station Lane, Hornchurch, Essex RM12 6JL.
5. Promotions
You consent that the Connect Finance Group may provide you and your client with information of our services or third party promotions that we deem may be of interest to you from time to time. If you or your client does not want to receive these promotions please make this clear in your initial communication with us.
6. Updates/Amendments to these conditions
These terms and conditions may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. You should review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes.
